° Bio

Pronounced "6Twelve AP." Born and raised on the Northside of Minneapolis, 612AP is a powerful voice emerging from the Midwest hip-hop scene, blending gritty street narratives with conscious storytelling, melodic flows, and trap-inspired production. Inspired by Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, and Nipsey Hussle, 612AP brings calculated lyricism and authentic perspective. He first made major noise in 2013 after winning the Minneapolis BET "Rep Yo City" competition, traveling to the Memphis grand finale where he defeated the late Dallas rap star Mo3. As the founder of Bag Familia Records, 612AP stands on principles of loyalty, unity, and elevation — "Starve Together, Eat Together." He's not just building music. He's building a legacy.
